They urge the mayors of Jalisco to avoid massive national events; Downtown Guadalajara will close

Guadalajara, Jalisco.- City councils of the state of Jalisco, must to avoid make public calls that cause a conglomeration of people during the realization of their national celebrations, urged the government of the entity, derived from the health contingency due to the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 disease.

It was through an official document that the administration of Enrique Alfaro Ramírez made known to the 125 municipalities, the responsibility of avoiding celebrations such as parades, honors to the flag, popular festivals, concerts, charreadas or any kind of events that are contemplated.

A call was also made to society in general to be responsible for their health and avoid mass gatherings, since This leads to an increase in infections caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus., which ends up resulting in deaths.

For its part, in the capital city, Guadalajara, it was confirmed that both the parade and any celebration will be canceled, in addition to starting at six in the afternoon on September 15, the first square of the historic center will remain closed.

This situation includes the road closure of Juarez Avenue, Pedro Loza, Independence, Degollado, Hidalgo and González Ortega.

In this sense, the people of Jalisco will be able to experience a celebration of independence, through a virtual and television event, which families will be able to follow at 9:30 pm through the Jalisco TV signal and the Jalisco Government digital platforms.
