Margarita Zavala joins the criticism of other PAN members against the visit of Miguel Díaz-Canel to the country in the framework of the national holidays. Previously, her husband, Felipe Calderón, considered AMLO’s decision “unacceptable.”

The former president rejected that a “dictator” like the president of Cuba, regarding the situation that exists on the island, appears as a protagonist in the celebrations for the 200 years of the consummation of Independence.

“The protagonism in which the bicentennial of the consummation of the independence of a dictator who locks up dozens of Cuban citizens is unacceptable,” he wrote on Twitter.

Calderón compared Díaz-Canel’s presence in Mexico to inviting a foreigner to participate in the event dedicated to the Niños Héroes. “It would be the last straw,” he pointed out.
