Colima.- The Office of the Attorney General of the State of Colima (FGE) linked the process to two men who performed as municipal police officers Manzanillo for his alleged involvement in the femicide of Mayra Yazmín.
The alleged perpetrators of the kidnapping and subsequent femicide of the young woman were detained in recent days by elements of the FGE Investigation Police, who collected information and scientific evidence during their investigations.
The 19-year-old, who worked as a stylist, disappeared on August 19 in the aesthetic located in El Colomo, Manzanillo. Despite her parents trying to pay a ransom, she was murdered.
This crime generated pain and indignation among the inhabitants of the city who demonstrated in the first days of September to demand justice for Mayra Yazmín.
After the control judge analyzed the reliable evidence and investigations of the Prosecutor’s Office, he linked the two former policemen to the trial for the crime of aggravated kidnapping.
After the binding of the process dictated this Friday, the agents were placed in preventive detention in the corresponding penitentiary center.
The judge also established a period of three months for the complementary investigations to conclude.
For its part, the Specialized Unit to Combat Kidnapping (UECS) continues with various lines of investigation to clarify the facts. So far, the possibility that there are more accomplices in the crime has not been ruled out.

It is worth mentioning that the State Prosecutor’s Office, the National Anti-kidnapping Coordination (Conase), the C5i of Colima and the Police Directorate of the H. City Council of Manzanillo participate in the investigation.
