“Mission accomplished”: After four years and almost 10 months of government, Quirino Ordaz affirms himself satisfied

Sinaloa.- The governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, said he felt satisfied with his work leading the state in these four years and almost 10 months, because he said that he carried out a lot of public work as a testimony of his work for the development of the state.

This morning, the state president led the civic flag-raising act on the occasion of the 211th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence, the last that corresponded to him as governor, and he did so alongside his wife, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz; the president of the Board of Directors of the State Congress, Deputy Roxana Rubio Valdez; of the magistrate Ricardo López Chávez, president of the Supreme Court of Justice; the municipal president of Culiacán, Jesús Estrada Ferreiro; and the commander of the Ninth Military Zone, Brigadier General Héctor Ávila Alcocer.

When approached by the media, and asked an express question, Governor Ordaz Coppel said that he is effectively leaving satisfied with what he has achieved in these almost five years.

“The truth is, yes, we did a lot of work, there are the results, you will know them by their fruits, as they say, but mission accomplished, I’m going calmly. There are still many things, to continue lowering the levels of poverty and inequality in the state, but I believe that the great infrastructure works that began, such as roads and dams, are going to give a very strong change to the economic map of the country. been, ”he replied.

The works referred to by the governor are the four new public hospitals, the rainwater collectors and the rehabilitation of drains to prevent flooding, the 1,500 streets paved with hydraulic concrete, the total reconstruction of three baseball stadiums and the construction of a soccer stadium, the improvement of the state highway network such as the beginning of Badiraguato-Parral and San Ignacio-Tayoltita, the creation of the complex of the Center for Autism and the Blind and Visually Impaired, among many other actions, all with an investment of more than 24 billion pesos, but above all, without contracting long-term debt.

In this last act of lifting on the esplanade of the Government Palace, Ordaz Coppel was accompanied by all the members of his cabinet, among them, the Secretary General of the Government, Gonzalo Gómez Flores; the Secretary of Public Works, Osbaldo López Angulo; the Secretary of Social Development, Ricardo Madrid Pérez; the Secretary of Health, Efrén Encinas Torres, and several others.
