Macabre find! They locate skeleton on the Sonora highway; it could be from a woman

Hermosillo.- On one side of the road in the Villa Juárez town, belonging to the Benito Juárez municipality, a skeleton which was wrapped in blankets, according to information from the Rastreadora De Ciudad Obregón group, Sonora.

The skeletal remains were found semi-buried on the shores of the Sonora state highway during the afternoon of this Thursday, September 16. This could have belonged to a woman, but her identity is unknown so far.

The discovery was made by the group Rastreadoras de Ciudad Obregón, who requested the presence of the authorities when they noticed the presence of human bones scattered on the ground.

The elements of the Ministerial Criminal Investigation Agency that came to the scene confirmed that they were human remains. For this reason, they began the corresponding investigations and the collection of evidence.

For their part, the Forensic Medical Service personnel took charge of lifting the skeleton and transferring it to carry out DNA tests to identify the deceased and his causes of death.

It is worth mentioning that the group of Sonoran trackers urged citizens to go to the facilities of the State Prosecutor’s Office in case of having a missing relative to provide genetic samples that can speed up the identification of the bodies found.
