Angel Emilio is a standout Cuban-born percussionist, whose musical inspiration was born from listening to Mexican artists such as Luis Miguel, José José and Ana Gabriel. He has collaborated with Pitbull, Gente de Zona, Farruko, Chino and Nacho, el Chakal, among many other international artists.
One of his big bets is the fusion of the guaracha and the timbal, thus providing an Afro-electronic touch that promises to make us dance nonstop.
Since he was a child, the Cuban singer Angel Emilio had a great interest in music, but above all, in Mexican music. “I love the music that these talents have given us. From them, I learned that dreams are achieved when you work hard. I would love to go as far as them and, at some point, be able to collaborate with Thalía and Paulina Rubio.”
Right now, Angel Emilio presents his most recent single “I’m going to live”a song full of rhythm and flavor that, without a doubt, will lift its listeners out of their seats, to make them dance to the Latin sound, at the same time that it will take them back to their roots.
The lyrics of the song arise from a moment of storm that Angel and his partner Lexi were going through.so they decided to carry a message of a new rebirth through joy and with a desire to learn.
This same message was transferred to the video clip that accompanies the single, where we can see joy, fun and party aboard a yacht set on the beaches of Miami. The audiovisual was produced by Roly Pérez.
The Cuban guy has managed to position itself in the taste of the people thanks to the fusion it achieved between the guaracha and the timbalesproviding an Afro-electronic touch, rhythms that have been well accepted by his followers throughout Latin America.
With more than 25 years of experience, he has worked with the Pupi Orchestra, Los que Son Son and the Sur Caribe, renowned orchestras from his native Cuba. He also stepped on the red carpets of the Billboard Awards and Premios Juventud, standing out as an exclusive guest at events on the Telemundo channel and participating in concerts on Miami’s famous Calle 8.
