In Nuevo León 9 minors are protected to be vaccinated against Covid-19

Nuevo León.- Given the possible risk that Covid-19 represents in the population under 18 years of age in Nuevo León, there are already 9 young people who are protected to receive the immunizing biological from Pfizer, reported the deputy director of the Metropolitan Hospital, Amalia Becerra.

This was announced at a press conference, in the daily report of Covid-19, where he also announced what was related to new cases of Covid-19 in the entity.

Becerra Aquino mentioned that in Nuevo León there are about 558 thousand minors between 12 and 17 years of age who could be vaccinated, through an amparo or because the immunization of young people between 18 and 29 years of age has been concluded.

Regarding the Covid-19 figures, the official of the entity’s Ministry of Health explained that in the last 24 hours, Nuevo León registered 966 new infections of Covid-19, a figure that consecutively represented a decrease in the incidence of the virus due to below a thousand infections a day, while in a total way the entity accumulates 265 thousand 010 infections.

Which he pointed out could be a sign that the third wave of infections has entered a stabilization phase, but still with high signs of infections, after last August the virus in the entity reached its highest peak with more than 2 thousand infections in 24 hours.

He also announced that in the previous 24 hours there were 44 deaths, being the third consecutive day with less than 50 deaths from the viral disease, after a streak of 22 days in a row with at least 50 deaths was recorded.

He also mentioned that at the cutoff this Sunday the entity registered 44 deaths associated with the disease, which in the same way represented a decrease in deaths below 50 deaths.
