Enrique Vargas del Villar yesterday announced a virtual pre-campaign start with a view to choosing Governor of the State of Mexico in 2023 as a PAN candidate.
In Toluca, the former mayor of Huixquilucan presented the “Leader Route” project, to tour the Mexican territory and present government proposals with regional meetings.
Vargas made his announcement before politicians, priests, indigenous people and social leaders, including the PAN senator Josefina Vázquez Mota y Victor Hugo Sondonrepresentative of the PAN before the INE.
After the blue and white leader on Friday, Marko Cortesuncovered him de facto as a candidate, Vargas advocated an opposition alliance in the State of Mexico to defeat the morenista Delfina Gómez.
“If we can come to an agreement, we will go down the right path, but I want to make it clear: with an alliance or without an alliance, we are going to defend the State of Mexico,” he said.
