Due to roof collapse in Culiacán shoe store, IMSS activated mass reception protocol

Sinaloa.- Derived from the collapse of the roof of a well-known shoe shop at the Center, Dr. Tania Clarissa Medina, head of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Culiacán, announced that on Monday activated the bulk reception protocol of patients with medical and nursing staff.

The doctor indicated that they were attentive to the events that occurred around 6:15 p.m., where there was preliminary knowledge of several injured people, including workers of the shoe store and customers.

It indicated that 15 minutes later a 23-year-old woman, identified as Amairani, was received in the same emergency area who presented bruises and right femur fracture, for which she was hospitalized, remaining in the floor area.

Later, the emergency area received another person who had been rescued from the rubble. A young man identified as Alexis Eduardo, 21, who after undergoing X-ray studies ruled out fractures and only had some wounds saturated. Alexis was discharged this morning.
