Toluca, Edomex.- The intense rains registered in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico on September 6 led to the formation of three sinkholes in the municipality of Ecatepec, State of Mexico and Morelos.

The residents and residents of the municipality have documented on social networks the appearance of the three sinkholes. The first was located in a sports car in the Las Vegas Xalostoc neighborhood, whose dimensions are 10 meters deep and eight meters in diameter.

Bliss geologic fault It was found on the corner of Río de los Remedios avenue and New York street by a group of neighbors, who expressed their concern through social networks. They assured that this sinkhole was derived from a water leak and the softening of the earth due to humidity and rains.

The second sinkhole it was opened on Saturday, September 11, under the tires of a tanker truck (pipe) that was transporting 15 thousand liters of water in the Ciudad Azteca neighborhood. This caused the unit to overturn on the Boulevard de los Guerreros on the corner of Iztapalapa Street. This opening did not cause the rupture of the drainage, but it was cordoned off by elements of Civil Protection.

The third sinkhole It is located in the San Agustín neighborhood and was reported to the municipal authorities of Ecatepec de Morelos. This subsidence caused damage to the pipes.

The residents of that area expressed their opinion on social networks that the sinking of the land is due to the little maintenance done by the local authorities to the rain system.

The areas where the three tunnels are located were delimited with tape by the authorities to prevent the passage of the curious and thus avoid more accidents.
