Atlas: Players from Guadalajara ready to face MLS stars in Minnesota

Guadalajara, Jalisco.- After turning the Queretaro in the Monumental Jalisco Stadium, Atlas of Guadalajara catches his breath after leaving behind a streak of three consecutive losses that have him out of the reclassification zone, in this first half of the Liga MX Apertura 2022.

The victory against Gallos made the confidence return in the team of Diego Cocca and at the best time, because in a week the Argentine coach, along with six of his disciples, will make the trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota to dispute the ‘All-Star Game’ against the best players in the MLS.

The two-time champion of the First Division is the club that contributes the most players in the official call announced by the Liga MX and which will be directed by Diego Cocca himself, after being awarded as the best coach in the First division during the 2021-22 season.

On the part of the Atlas the players will be in service: Camilo Vargas, Luis Reyes, Martin Nervo, Aldro Rocha, Julian Quinones y Julio Cesar Furch. They will join the other stars looking to get revenge after losing last year against MLS.

“The All-Star game is a prize, I am convinced of it, it is a prize for the players who stood out and for the coaching staff that I stand out, that’s how I live it”, mentioned the red and black helmsman, who is well organized before making the trip to the USA.

Tomorrow (today) we will have free time, on Saturday we will train with the boys and prepare for the match. Then we travel, we train, we have fun and then we come back to think about Chivas and I will enjoy it to the fullest”, added Diego Cocca.
