Guadalajara.- At least six vehicles were involved in a spectacular carom-type accident that occurred on Sunday night on the highway from Tala to San Marcos, near La Noria in Teuchitlan, Jalisco. One person lost his life at the scene and three others were injured, according to preliminary information.
The accident was reported to the 911 emergency number around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12. By this means the firefighters of Tala and Teuchitlán were alerted, who moved to the place.
Upon arrival, the rescuers found a passenger bus that suffered a blow to the left side. They also located a blue Renault Stepway car with CDMX plates with a smashed front, a red Toyota brand truck overturned off the road, a black Toyota Highlander with blows to the left side, and a dark Jeep Liberty with slight damage to its structure. .
An approximately 35-year-old woman died during the accident. She was riding in the passenger seat in the Totoya Hilux van, three of her companions suffered injuries to different parts of the body, according to official reports.
A witness testified that the driver of the passenger truck exceeded the continuous line and invaded the opposite lane, fostering the coalition of the aforementioned units. The car that suffered the most damage were the Renault SUV and the Hilux pickup.
